This website is being managed by a team of researchers at the School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University and has been made possible with the support of Google and other partners (see the list below). Its main aim is to feature films produced in Nigeria since the inception of the country's film industry. Our focus is on those films that promote positive and cultural values.
The website forms part of the Centenary Project platform. The Centenary Project is an initiative which aims to digitally archive various aspects of Nigeria's history and display them on the internet. The overall strategy of the project is to capture, curate and publish narratives and historical exhibits about Nigeria in the past 100 years. Its main focus areas are film, art, photography, music, politics as well as other fields of historical interest.
